"Halen: Ballad of the Blade Thief" is a singleplayer, 3rd person action platformer set in a sci-fi universe that my team and I created as our university capstone project.
A lone thief, Halen’s survival depends on completing a job retrieving an artifact from an abandoned planet in the far reaches of space. However, things go awry, and she finds herself fighting off an army of marooned robots, with the help of an unexpected ally. Together they must escape the temple in one piece.

As the lead 3D modeler, I created models that bring the game world to life, ensuring the environment and the player character resonate with players.
All environment models and the main character (Halen) model were created using Maya.
Upon receiving a greybox version of each of the game's levels, I created a variety of models that could be reused to give the environment a cohesive visual language. There were also opportunities for bespoke models that amplified each level's distinct atmosphere.




UI Design
As the user interface designer, I developed intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces that enhance the player's experience throughout their gameplay.
